Senior Consultant

As a senior consultant, you’ll bring substantial experience in your specialist field within a consultancy role. You’ll have a sound knowledge of the public sector and current policies and political issues affecting it. You’ll be able to evidence previous experience in project management on at least three major projects, preferably in the public sector and using nationally accredited methodologies.

Our clients value the confidence and expertise that comes with excellent consultancy. We're interested in people who'll bring experience and in-depth knowledge of a specialist field. You will be able to evidence a wide range of consultancy projects and client-facing experience or comparable transferable skills.

As an Analyst, you will provide support activities as an integral part of our project teams; conducting qualitative and qualitative research, analysing data for trends and creating management information to inform our clients strategic decision-making.

Graduate Programme

We developed a two year graduate development programme in 2018 to provide recent graduates with the very best chance of achieving two main aims: to be exceptional and considered by our clients, colleagues and peers to be one of the best consultants they have worked with; and to have a fulfilling and rewarding life outside of work.

We took on three graduates and offered them dedicated support and training throughout their time with us – from initial induction, office based mentoring and regular assessments to help keep them on the right track. There was also the option of further study and opportunities for extra qualifications.

Asia Le Chapelle Williams

Blue Economy Consultant & Director of WTC

What was the number one reason you joined Inner Circle?

I joined Inner Circle because I liked the team and I liked the opportunities available to use my skills and develop new ones.

What was your career journey before you joined Inner Circle and what have you gone on to do?

My career journey before Inner Circle was focused on Project and Programme Management at a large Design & Engineering firm (Arcadis) where I worked with clients such as the Environment Agency and Housing Associations. I also did some international work in their Singapore office and with UN-Habitat in Jamaica.

Did you feel like your role at Inner Circle had a purpose?

Yes, clients were lacking the capacity to carry out projects and programmes and were also sometimes at a level of immaturity as they were new functions, organisations or units of government that required support to establish themselves. We brought a new perspective and way of doing things to help them become more structured, efficient and improve their outcomes.

What was the number one benefit/reward to working for Inner Circle?

The people; everyone is fun and it is a work hard, play hard environment which I like. Also, there is flexibility and room for innovation. It is good that you can use your creativity and work with your colleagues to produce something new because at the end of the day that's what keeps business relevant and can solve some of today's challenges.
